One of the most beautiful traditions of my own, is waking up on a Sunday morning, indulging in a scorching hot coffee, and taking myself to my local Farmer’s Market.

Investing back into your local community is not only an earnest way of supporting your local farmers, but it is a small contribution to cutting the imports of perishables. Of course, there are times in which your local farmers market won’t have all of your required grocery list; however, the conscious effort to create meals around what is in season in your area as well as what is local, doesn’t only support sustainable alternatives, but it fosters a sense of excitement and creative energy into feeding yourself and loved ones.
